So I was trying to attach an object to the simulated cloth surface but couldn't find any info about it, is Carbon not have this feature yet?
I know Qualoth had their Button Object that easily attach a polygon object to a surface of their simulation cloth...

Hi JohnSmith,

Classic rigid body attachment is available in Carbon for Houdini, but not yet in Carbon Cloth for Maya.
For now in Carbon Cloth for Maya you can create a cloth button and attach it with a binding.
Bindings are great because they find their own attachments to the cloth so you can reposition the buttons easily.

You can make the button cloth stiff by increasing the number of iterations/subdivisions if needed - depends on the number of polygons.
See this post to help with stiffness. numerion-software.com/index.php/forum/tip-of-the-week/40

Also if you don't want to slow down your main cloth sim to make stiff buttons then you can also sim the cloth and then use it as a collider in a second cascaded sim for the buttons - see the layered sim example in the docs carbon0091m.numerion-software.com/downloads.html

Meanwhile we are working on the second generation of our rigid body architecture that will enable some exciting art direction. This will be part of the next major release for Carbon Cloth for Maya in a few months time. Then you will be able to attach rigid bodies to cloth.
