Carbon for Houdini 9.5.1 is now available and so is support for H18.0.391
Carbon for Houdini 9.5.1 includes significant performance improvements.
Typical scenes like the tutorial_avatar.hip included in the documentation, run 22% faster, tight twisting cloths run up to 80% faster.
Your mileage will vary depending on the nature of your scene and your CPU.
It's no mean feat to achieve this level of performance increase in a highly optimized solver like Carbon.
But even more amazing that this is only the first of two performance upgrades; second one we expect to release in a couple months.
